Navigating My Sea II worked alongside women from Her Centre, Solace and the Aaina Centre- responding to the new tapestry commission, Feeling Blue, by Albert Whittle. Based online through Royal Museums Greenwich, across a period of two months, the group worked together, dying yarn from which they learnt to weave. Alongside their weaves they used creative writing to explore how colour connects to feeling. The resulting weaves and poems were given to Stuti Bansal who responded to the work through animation. The final publication and film made in collaboration with Aurelijia, Laura, Maria, Nikeshia, Padma and Zarida, was then screened and celebrated at the Queen’s House.
